Surah Name: Az-Zukhuruf Meaning: The Gold Ornaments
Hameem Ha Mim. (43:1) |
Wa(a)kitabi almubeen(i) By this luminous Book. (43:2) |
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ Inna jaAAalnahu quranan AAarabiyyan laAAallakum taAAqiloona Verily We-SWT ! We-SWT have made it an Arabic Quran that haply you may reflect. (43:3) |
وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ Wainnahu fee ommi alkitabi ladayna laAAaliyyun hakeem(un) And verily it is in the Original Book before Us-SWT , indeed exalted, full of wisdom. (43:4) |
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَن كُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّسْرِفِينَ Afanadribu AAankumu a(l)ththikra safhan an kuntum qawman musrifeen(a) Shall We-SWT take away from you the Admonition because you are a people extravagant? (43:5) |
وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن نَّبِيٍّ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ Wakam arsalna min nabiyyin fee alawwaleen(a) And how many a Prophet-AS We-SWT have sent among the ancients. (43:6) |
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن نَّبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِؤُون Wama yateehim min nabiyyin illa kanoo bihi yastahzioon(a) And not a Prophet-AS came to them but him they used to mock. (43:7) |
فَأَهْلَكْنَا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا وَمَضَى مَثَلُ الْأَوَّلِينَ Faahlakna ashadda minhum batshan wamada mathalu alawwaleen(a) Therefore We-SWT destroyed peoples mightier than these in prowess; and there has gone forth the example of the ancients. (43:8) |
Walain saaltahum man khalaqa a(l)ssamawati wa(a)larda layaqoolunna khalaqahunna alAAazeezu alAAaleem(u) And if you question them Who-SWT has created the heavens and the earth? They will surely say: The Mighty, the Knower created them. (43:9) |
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ Allathee jaAAala lakumu alarda mahdan wajaAAala lakum feeha subulan laAAallakum tahtadoon(a) Who-SWT has made the earth a bed for you and has made therein paths for you so that you are directed. (43:10) |
Wa(a)llathee nazzala mina a(l)ssamai maan biqadarin faansharna bihi baldatan maytan kathalika tukhrajoon(a) And Who-SWT sends down water from the heaven in measure Then We-SWT quicken a dead land therewith and even so you will be brought forth. (43:11) |
وَالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ Wa(a)llathee khalaqa alazwaja kullaha wajaAAala lakum mina alfulki wa(a)lanAAami ma tarkaboon(a) And Who-SWT has created the pairs, all of them, and appointed for you from ships and cattle on which you ride. (43:12) |
Litastawoo AAala thuhoorihi thumma tathkuroo niAAmata rabbikum itha istawaytum AAalayhi wataqooloo subhana allathee sakhkhara lana hatha wama kunna lahu muqrineen(a) That you may mount firmly on their backs, and then may remember the favour of your Rabb-SWT when you mount thereon, and may say: Hallowed be He-SWT Who-SWT has subjected this to us, and we could have it not. (43:13) |
وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ Wainna ila rabbina lamunqaliboon(a) And verily to our Rabb-SWT we are to return. (43:14) |
وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ جُزْءًا إِنَّ الْإِنسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ مُّبِينٌ WajaAAaloo lahu min AAibadihi juzan inna alinsana lakafoorun mubeen(un) And they assign out of His-SWT bondmen co-partners. Verily man is a manifest ingrate. (43:15) |
